Spring on the Ausable, 3/18/25

With sun and warm temps in the forecast, I headed out to paint on March 18. I found this spot along the Ausable River, Upper Jay, and took advantage of the lack of undergrowth and foliage  to paint. Once the trees leaf out, much of the view will be blocked. Later in the afternoon I turned around and painted the downstream view - but it's unfinished at this time.
