Snow Patches, March - Asgaard Farm, 3/11/25

Having painted the snow covered fields of Asgaard Farm (former home of Rockwell Kent) in February, I returned on this warmish March day to do a larger one. However, this is what I found - winter was done in the Au Sable River valley, even though there were still feet of snow in the mountains. The remnants of the drifting snow in the fields created interesting positive and negative shapes.
