I took part in the Telluride Plein Air Festival in July 2014. For this painting, of one of the 14,000 mountains, I drove a rental car on Forest Service Roads up to an elevation of 11,270 feet. Then I sat down in an alpine meadow and painted the mountain that was my view. Included in M O U N T A I N S, my 2019 featured artist exhibit at the Adirondack Artists Guild Gallery.
