This tree, White Pine #110, may have been the second tallest White Pine in New York State and it came down in a July windstorm in 2012. The massive size of the tree is unbelievable - unless you have something there to provide a sense od scale. So I did a self-porrait. I had done a plein air painting of this tree, and the others near it, on May 17, 2012 and then on a hike later that year discovered the tree had come down.
