While leading hiking trips for the Adirondack Mountain Club in Glacier National Park, I saw this Mountain Goat family near Logan Pass, serenely walking through the glacier lilies. We were hiking at over 8,000 feet elevation, heading to Hidden Lake. The wildlife seems to know they are protected in the Park. I could almost have touched them as they walked by, led by the kid!
Included in "Close Encounters of the Wild Kind", featured artist exhibit for August 2015, Adirondack Artists Guild Gallery, 52 Main St., Saranac Lake, NY.
