It
has been said that waterfalls create something like positive ions in
the air - which make people feel good. I know I can sit and let myself
get visually lost in the cascades and trickles of a waterfall, totally
absorbed by the various sounds of rushing water. This painting features
3 of my favorite falls: the amazing Stone Valley of the Raquette River,
between Colton and Hannawa Falls; Beaver Meadow Falls - deep in the
High Peaks, encountered when descending the trail from Gothics; and the
beautiful Bog River Falls, where the river tumbles into Tupper Lake. A Stone Valley, Raquette River B Traditional Tibetan Ring of Wisdom C Beaver Meadow Falls D Bog River Falls E, F, G, & H - Falls along the Mossy Cascade Trail I, J, K, & L - Water reflections |
